New video: How subtitles are created

New video: How subtitles are created

What began in 1984 with the subtitling of the broadcast of the Pope's visit to Switzerland has today become a comprehensive service for all those viewers who can only understand TV programmes with the help of subtitles.

So it's high time to talk about this great public service again!

Here are a few "fun facts":

SWISS TXT has been providing accessibility services for SRG SSR and its Enterprise Units SRF, RTS and RSI as well as for corporate partners and educational institutes for 40 years. We offer proximity and professionalism in 3 official languages as well as in around 20 other languages throughout our regional locations (Zurich, Geneva, Comano) with around 100 employees. SWISS TXT subtitles approx. 80% of all SRG TV programmes, which corresponds to approx. 46,000 hours per year.
