More and more events and meetings are taking place online. This often creates barriers for people with hearing or visual impairments and speakers of other languages. SWISS TXT has developed options and tools to help businesses and public organisations organise linguistically accessible online events.
The LiveAccess platform
The platform enables the following functions and integrations:
- Broadcast of live stream (video/audio)
- Subtitles/live text – monolingual or multilingual
- Automated translation and output in several languages simultaneously
- Show/hide sign language interpreters
- Integrated tool for questions during the online event
- Creation of subtitle files (automatic/manual) for use in media libraries/video on demand
- Desktop app as an add-on to conference platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams)
Users can customise the setup of the platform: select language, change view, adjust font size etc.
