As a subsidiary and multimedia competence centre of SRG SSR, SWISS TXT has accompanied Switzerland into an increasingly complex digital future – from consulting to implementation.

The Federal Council issues the TELETEXT concession on 19 December. Schweizerische Teletext AG founded on 23 December.
1984
The TELETEXT service starts operations on SF DRS.
1985
The French service starts on TSR.

The Italian service starts on TSI.

Relaunch of teletext.ch, introduction of the Black Box (1:1 mirroring of TELETEXT).

New viewer record in first quarter: 1.3 million per day.

User record, 21 August: Over 1.8 million people looked up information about flooding in Switzerland on Teletext.
2006
User record on TELETEXT, 19 February: More than 2.2 million people turned to Teletext for information about the Olympics in Turin.

Full transfer of the news studios to the SRG SSR business units: introduction of the TELETEXT mobile website.
2009
Introduction of the iPhone application.
2010
Introduction of the Windows 7 Phone application; new all-time user record: 2,267 million users on election day.

New launch of the startpage no. 100 with new advertising forms.

Relaunch of the teletext.ch website.
