This EU-funded project aims to collect all elements relating to “accessible media” and make them available on a new platform. Term of the project: 2020 to 2024.

Background

Researchers, engineers and scholars as well as businesses and policy makers will be able to use this ecosystem. It will also contribute to existing and new standards for media accessibility in 28 European countries.

Aim and implementation of the LEAD-ME project

Important elements with regard to “accessible media” will be collected, such as innovative technologies (AI, avatars and blockchain) and interactive solutions (workflows and software) but also examples of applications, guidelines and much more.
This EU-funded project will also test which individual elements and technologies are suitable for marketing.
Once the elements have been collected and the marketing test has been conducted, work will be carried out in order to develop a suitable platform through which the elements can be made available.
The results will contribute to new standards for media accessibility in 28 European countries.
